Toronto, ON — [Nov 13, 2025] – Pride House Toronto 2026 is proud to announce George Brown Polytechnic as its official venue partner for the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup.

Running from June 11 to July 19, 2026, fans from across the city and around the world will be invited to experience the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup games televised in an inclusive, soccer-forward environment at George Brown Polytechnic’s Waterfront Campus, located at 51 Dockside Drive. Visitors can enjoy every World Cup match in a welcoming, secure, and community-focused atmosphere designed to bring together 2SLGBTQI+ fans, allies, and soccer supporters of all backgrounds.

Pride House Toronto is a proud member of Pride House International, a global initiative that supports local communities in creating hospitality venues called Pride Houses at major sporting events. Pride House Toronto first debuted during the 2015 Pan Am Games, but this marks the first time Toronto will host an official Pride House during a FIFA World Cup.

Recognized by FIFA and hosted in cities around the globe, Pride Houses curate viewing experiences, community programming, and cultural events that celebrate inclusion in sport. Pride House Toronto plans to expand on this mandate, building a lasting legacy of sports inclusion in our city.

“This is an incredible opportunity,” said Annie Hart, Chair of Pride House Toronto. "At a time when it's needed more than ever, we are able to showcase Toronto and Canada as a gleaming example of a society strengthened by inclusion and integrity.”

In addition to match-day viewing parties, Pride House Toronto will feature daytime programming in collaboration with local organizations to spotlight Toronto’s vibrant soccer culture and diverse communities. All events will be held at the George Brown Daphne Cockwell Centre for Health Sciences.

“George Brown is honoured to serve as the host venue partner for Pride House Toronto during the FIFA World Cup,” said Michael Herrera, Senior Vice-President, Institutional Planning & Chief Financial Officer, George Brown Polytechnic. “This partnership reflects our unwavering commitment to equity, inclusion, and community engagement. We’re excited to welcome fans from around the world to a space that celebrates diversity and fosters belonging.”

"It's a perfect partnership." Agrees Hart.
