Hate Has No Home Anywhere

Over the past few days, we've also been grappling with the heartbreaking news of the attack during Christopher Street Day celebrations in Berlin. It was a sobering reminder that while progress has been made, there is still work to do to ensure everyone can gather, celebrate and simply exist without fear.
For many members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, participating in sport, or even watching it, isn't always free from discrimination, exclusion or harassment. That reality extends beyond stadiums and playing fields into fan spaces and everyday life.
That's why Pride House matters. Throughout the tournament, we saw what becomes possible when people are welcomed exactly as they are. Friends, families, neighbours and visitors from around the world came together through a shared love of football, proving that belonging is built one conversation, one shared experience and one act of welcome at a time.
Everyone deserves to enjoy sport without fear. Everyone deserves to feel like they belong.
